Railway Recruitment for 12th pass & graduates: Apply for 11,558 Vacancies

Railways Job Vacancy: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially announced 11,558 vacancies under the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) for 12th pass and graduates in its latest govt job recruitment notification published on 7th September 2024. Interested candidates can apply for these job positions through the RRB Online Portal at rrbapply.gov.in.

Eligibility Criteria for RRB NTPC 2024:

To apply for RRB NTPC Recruitment 2024, candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Educational Qualification:

    • For 12th-pass or Undergraduate Posts (CEN 06/2024), candidates must have passed 12th standard (Intermediate) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board.
    • For Graduate Posts (CEN 05/2024), candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

    These qualifications are essential to ensure candidates have the basic knowledge and skills required for the respective roles.

  • Age Limit:

    • For Graduate Posts, the age limit is set between 18 to 36 years. This gives a wide range of candidates, from fresh graduates to those with some work experience, the opportunity to apply.
    • For Undergraduate Posts, the age limit is 18 to 33 years, allowing younger aspirants to apply after completing their 12th standard.
    • Note: Age relaxations are applicable for reserved categories as per government norms.

  • Graduate Posts: Station Master, Goods Train Manager, Senior Clerk cum Typist, and more.
  • Undergraduate Posts: Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, and more.

Selection Process:

  • Stage 1 CBT
  • Stage 2 CBT
  • Typing/Aptitude Test
  • Document Verification
  • Medical Examination

Key Dates:

  • Graduate Posts (CEN 05/2024): Apply from 14th September to 13th October 2024
  • Undergraduate Posts (CEN 06/2024): Apply from 21st September to 20th October 2024

Application Fee:

  • General: Rs 500 (Rs 400 refunded after CBT)
